CROCHET PROJECTS

Even though it's boiling in Singapore, I still made so many cute crochet tops - and a cardigan too! :)
I compiled my favorite pieces that I've made, and if you want to see them in depth, just click on the picture! I'm going to talk about the pictures to the right from 1st row left to right and 2nd row left to right.
Picture 1: That is how I normally style this free-handed crochet "corset," if that's what you want to call it. It's kind of like a crop top but REALLY comfortable.
Picture 2: This pink halter top that I also free-handed is a top that I made to wear for the Barbie movie haha. It was really cute on top of a button up dress and I would write the pattern, but I already forgot it.
Picture 3: I LOVE this cardigan. The pattern is by Lankabyme on Instagram, and I bought her pattern on Etsy I think. Super cute. Super comfortable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to make a cardigan for the first time because it has really cool features like a collar, and you can customize it any way you want to, including the color way!
Picture 4: This is a flat lay of picture 1's top
Picture 5: This top is a top design by me for the beach, but I chose the wrong materials... It's way too hot to wear on the beach, but it's cute!
Picture 6: This is a top down made blouse. I found a tutorial on YouTube, and I had to frog the project multiple times because I wasn't really paying attention at the start... Oops. But it turned out really nice! It's one of my favorite projects.
Picture 7: This is the top in picture 5, and I also made a matching skirt. That skirt took a long time to make because it was my first time making a skirt... It was so hard. I couldn't get it to fit right in certain areas, it wasn't stretchy, and it was just overall frustrating. I ended up putting ribbons on the side of the skirt so it wouldn't fall down when I walked.
Picture 8: I think I made this project after I made the cardigan, and I wanted to do something with the ribbing stitches on the ends of the cardigan. You can see I used the same stitch to create that effect on the bottom of the blouse. I added that studded accent on the left breast because I thought that it was missing something, and it was a great choice to add it. I kind of started with an idea of what I wanted it to look like at, but I didn't really know what I was doing. I love how it turned out, it's so elegant.
